This is a beautiful heavy paper or cardboard die-cut embossed wall hanging. It originally was to hold letters and had a calendar attached to it. The original slots on the bottom would have held a cut-out that would have protruded, leaving enough space to hold cards or letters. There was a calendar that was stapled to this backboard. The staple holes are near the very bottom center edge. This is a small cottage scene with two singing birds perched above. There is some obvious minor wear. The filigree fencing on the outer edges is separated at a few points. There is glitter paint wear on these edges. 15 1/2" X 9 1/2". Good color. Marked on the back: "Made in Czechoslovakia."
