A charming felt pillow cover. This is high school memorabilia probably sold as a fundraiser. A pillow would be inserted between the two felt sections, and the felt "rope" would be threaded through the slots to keep the cover on. The black side is BHS for the high school, and the yellow side has STL, which I believe is for St. Louis. The school colors were probably yellow and black or gold and black. There is noticeable wear. It could use a good washing or rinsing or just aired out. A very faint musty smell. It is made to fit a 12" square pillow with fringe overhanging.
