Harper's Round Table began in April 1895 as a weekly illustrated magazine that contained fiction and non-fiction works. It targeted teenage boys. In November of 1897, it became a monthly publication. The magazine ceased publication in 1899. They were published by Harper & Brothers. Many of the stories continue into several issues. There is always an article on sports—from college football to bicycling. Early events from several Ivy League universities and colleges are covered. There is a lot of fun information to read through by studying the advertisements. Many of the companies advertising products are still in business. Parker Games and Spalding sporting goods are just a few. Each publication is sold separately. Each is sold as is. These are original magazines from the late 1890s. Most are missing their covers. They are most fragile around the edges but will not fall apart while reading. Handle these old documents with gentle care. These are the MONTHLY publications.
