Antique plate celebrating the 50th anniversary of Queen Victoria's accession. June 20, 1837. The Jubilee Year. Victoria Queen & Empress. 10 3/4" across. Earthenware, transfer printed and hand colored. Some wear on the gold edging, otherwise in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. This plate was produced for Silber & Fleming in London. Printed bottom of plate: Rd. No 63164. This same plate was also made in the more popular eight-sided shape. This round version is harder to find.
