Four antique postcards. Four different churches in Utica, NY. All are churches built in the mid-1800s thru the late 1800s. All sold together. Minor wear around some of the edges—no writing on the back. None are stamped or postmarked.
Park Baptist Church, Utica, NY. Completed in 1888. Several churches continued to lose membership and continued to move into other churches. This church was abandoned in 1930. No writing on the back. Made in Germany. Minor wear.
St. Joseph's R. C. Church, Utica, NY. It opened in 1871. Still in use today. No writing on a postcard. Minor edge wear.
Plymouth Church and Soldiers Monument, Utica, NY. It opened in 1890. The original building is still there. The existing large wood steeple was added later. Postcard published by the Utica Paper Company. Minor wear along edges.
The Chapel Masonic Home, Utica, NY. The Masonic Home was built in Utica because of its central location in New York. The first residents moved in on May 1, 1893. The effort was to create a home for Masons, their wives, widows, and orphans. It is known today as the Masonic Care Community. I couldn't find any pictures or information about the original building in this postcard. The postcard is in excellent condition. The Utica Paper Company published them.
