A collection of 7 antique Easter Greetings postcards. 5 1/2" X 3 1/2". Postcards in the late 1800s and early 1900s were very popular for what we use today, the greeting card. Each of these postcards has a religious Easter greeting. Great color and beautiful artwork. All of them are embossed—some more than others. Three are marked "printed in Germany." Dated from 1910 thru 1915. Four have been written on the back in ink. Three postmarked. The postcard with the gold cross and birds flying shows the most wear. It looks like it may have been stapled on the top or tacked up. On the top of this card, it reads: "To Our Little Friend. Standard Furniture Company, Seattle." This postcard may have been sent to a customer from that company. It also has the artist's name on the bottom right corner. A. Hall. 2 other cards have the artist's name. Both cards are "Design copyright, John Winsch, 1910.
