Three book covers are attached, creating a folder. It looks like there was some document attached inside. This may have been a sample cover for each book to be published. James Whitcomb Riley books.  A salesman probably presented this to a storekeeper to take orders for the upcoming publications. Each cover design did become a published book. 8" X 5 1/4". All of these covers were used in the 1905 editions. There was probably a set of all his works published up to that time. Cloth on board. Minor wear around the edges.
