St. Nicholas Scribner's Illustrated Magazine for Girls and Boys. This was a magazine first published in 1873. It often published well-known authors of the era. Single books were expensive. Therefore the much cheaper magazine was affordable for the general masses and enabled them to read the popular authors. Each volume is original. Many covers are missing, and a few may have a few end pages. The edges of the pages show the most wear. I have no trouble turning the pages. They are bound with string. Sold as-is. 10" X 7". They are being sold by the year. Each year has limited volumes. Each volume is $8.00 but must be purchased by the complete year; thus, some years will cost less than others depending on how many volumes are available for each year.
