Wow, this is a very rare item to find.  An antique mob squeezer.  This fits in a pail, then the wet mop head would be placed into this item, and the excess water would be squeezed out while pulling the handle tight.  It is probably all handmade.  It does look like it has been used.  The bottom of the wood that would sit in the water pail is slightly cracked and looks like it has been sitting in water.  It still is very solid and beautifully made.  26" long.
