Most of the pages have some orange color print or part of the illustrations are orange. There is a sheet of celluloid between the pages. When this celluloid covered the orange ink, the picture or print was much more "invisible". Once you turned the page of celluloid, you then saw the additional print or images. The celluloid was dark enough to cover the lighter orange print and images. The celluloid pages are now faded to a light color and the effect of the "surprises" are lost. Most of the celluloid is in tact although faded. A few of the celluloid sheets are torn. The paper pages of the book are in very good condition. Obvious wear on cover. Overall in good condition. Very cute story.
