The Mentor. A popular monthly magazine. June 1929. There are several important notes of this magazine and this particular issue. The cover is drawn and engraved on wood by Howard McCormick. It still has excellent color. The front and back covers are loose. There are several interesting articles in this issue. Henry Ford is the main feature of this issue. It briefly describes Mr. Ford and then explores his passion for collecting. Many pictures. The Museum and other related buildings and attractions are still in Dearborn but are referred to as The Henry Ford. Each subsequent story relates to an interest of Mr. or Mrs. Ford. "Mary's Story of Her Lamb" is a wonderful story. Several articles give a history of well-known collectibles of today. Coverlets, pewter, glass oil lamps, and much more. A great historical read. 11 1/2" X 8 1/2".
