The inside blank cover page and first title page have been filled with black crayon scribbling. The inside pages are card stock which is how they have held up to the many readings: wonderful color and black and white illustrations. The pages have some soiling from the many fingers that have turned the pages. A few tears on a few pages. Still a wonderful vintage edition book.
