This is a rare vintage copy of The Swiss Family Robinson Book by Saalfield Publishing, Copyright 1940. No. 2307. It is adapted from a story by Jean Rudolph Wyss with illustrations by Henry Muheim. 11" X 8". It has heavy paper covers, much like in older coloring books. Bright colors on the covers. The top left of the front cover has begun to tear but shows no sign of falling apart. The inside pages have yellowed. All black and white illustrations. This version has four boys with their parents. The popular Disney version had only two boys, Fritz and Ernest. A great story.
