A vintage 1939 New York World's Fair souvenir spoon. The spoon features George Washington on the handle with five stars on the lower half of the handle. The scoop has flags behind the iconic ball and elliptic with a shield that states New York World's Fair 1939. This spoon is in very good condition. No wear. The back handle is marked NYWF. National Silver Co. A1. The A1 indicated the # of ounces of pure silver used in the plating. The A1 has 2 ounces per gross of teaspoons. 4 1/2" long. Silverplate.
