1960s felt souvenir pennant.  Idaho, featuring King Spud.  7 7/8" X 4".  Bright yellow mini felt pennant.  Very good condition.
In 1962, a trophy was commissioned to be used for the annual Idaho-Idaho State basketball series. Known as "King Spud," the smiling silver potato went to the winning team every year until it was retired in 1979. The University of Idaho Art Professor Alfred C. Dunn designed the trophy.
