A vintage aluminum Antiphlogistine applicator. "Apply warm & thick." This was a thick ointment used for sore muscles and arthritis. The applicator was used because it contains a strong menthol ingredient that would pernitrate your hands. This ointment was used in the military and is still made today. It is now sold for both human uses and horses. This applicator is used and does show some wear.
