Vintage Contoure Face Loose Powder Compact. Art Deco era. 1930s into 1940s. Some scratches on the top, mainly on the top back edge. You can see a short curve if you hold it at a different angle. I do not think it is a dent. The top enamel is poured on, and looks like it was not smoothed out correctly. If it were a dent that size, the enamel and possibly the inside mirror would have cracked. There are some scratches on the front side. Overall, still in very nice condition. It is very pretty. Perfect for an early collection. Mirror intact. Some loose powder is still inside—a very nice powder screen with the original applicator.
