This is the most modern version of the Esterbrook "Dip-less" ink pen # 444.  The desktop weighted base is the pen holder and ink well.  The ink chamber in the pen is sufficiently filled when the pen is stored in the pen holder, thus eliminating the constant need to dip the nib.  This pen has been used.  The nib is in very good and working condition, but there are remains of some ink in the nib.  It should be cleaned before use.  The nib is an Esterbrook # 9668 part of the Master Series Medium.  The base is 4 5/8" across the bottom.  The pen is 6 1/2" long with the nib.
