Elephant taxis figure. Hand-carved from bone. It may be from Thailand, but the decorative design looks more like it may be from India. The taxi has been painted red, and then all the sections have been decoratively hand-painted on top of the red. There is some paint wear. The canopy is missing a top-center decorative piece. It is also missing two poles for the canopy. 4 1/4" high.
