1 1/2" X 1 1/4".  A cute red leather-covered brass pill box.  The clasp works well.  It looks like the initials "JL" are on the top.  The metal is brass, but the clear coat normally applied to prevent tarnishing has yellowed from age and has begun to wear off on the corner of the outside edge.
