Vintage Wade Kathleen figurine.  She is one of nine figures produced by WADE in their Irish Folk and Song Series from 1970 through 1986.  3 1/2" tall.  The base is 1 1/2" X 1 3/4".  Excellent condition.  They are marked "Made in England".  She is considered a mythical symbol and the emblem of Irish Nationalism often found in literature, music, and art.  
This series was produced in England and Ireland after Wade opened an additional factory in Ireland.
